QALA STANDING STONE
This large upright or menhir, some 3m high, can be found across the road from Qala’s Primary School.. Though now completely isolated, except by modern housing, prehistoric pottery found near it implies that it might once have formed part of another temple, though this is now un-provable.

USEFUL INFORMATION
How to go: From Victoria, follow the signs to Qala. Just inside the village, turn left by the village school up to the end of Bishop Buttigieg Street and then follow a path going to the right behind some houses.
