ĠEBLA TA' SANSUNA
The ‘rock of the giantess’, is a large slab, propped at an angle, in the northern outskirts of Xagħra village. It might be the remains of a collapsed dolmen of the Bronze Age, but this is by no means certain. Local tradition attributes to a giantess in the distant past, as the name suggests. This is even less certain.

USEFUL INFORMATION
How to go: From Victoria, follow the signs to Xagħra. From the village square proceed along Church Street (opposite parish church to the right), at the crossroad turn right into Bullara Street, then take the the first turn left into Xerri's Grotto Street and again right into Ġnien Imrik Street. The Stone is enclosed between two houses on the left hand side just before the Cornucopia Hotel.
