NATURAL SCIENCE MUSEUM
The Natural Science Museum is found in the Citadel and is situated just behind the Law Courts. It is housed in a building which dates back to 1495 during the Aragonese period on the Islands, and, according to some documents found, it was most probably the first inn on Gozo. It was officially inaugurated as a Natural Science Museum on 15th November 1991.

In the museum one finds various collections pertaining to a variety of subjects. One of the most important collections is the Fossils collection in the Geology Section. Some of the exhibits in this section come from the collection of the 18th century Gozitan scholar Can. Aguis De Soldanis. Other subject areas in the museum are Minerology, Marine Life, Botany, Ornithology and Insects.

Local and foreign samples are exhibited in all sections of the Museum.
