Lunzjata Valley
This fertile valley is certainly one of the most picturesque in Gozo. It was used by the Knights of Malta for hunting and today it is a very important area for agriculture in Gozo. It is one of the best sites for relaxing countryside walks and offers unique scenery. The continous sound of running water coming from a number of springs and aquaducts that line up the valley complete the ambience. One of these springs dates back to 1698. A chapel dedicated to the Annunciation of Our Lady is found at the entrance of Lunzjata.
