The Craft Courses for Sustainable Career in Gozo Project stems directly from the objectives (Regional Distinctiveness-Gozo Special Needs of the Single Programming Document.

The objective of these courses is to provide the opportunity to participants to acquire skills in the production of quality crafts through hands-on training using modern tools and methods. Participants will also gain entrepreneurship skills.

The Gozo Centre for Art & Crafts will be offering a series of crafts courses in:

  • Integration of Lace in Fashion Wear
  • Fashion Design
  • Decorative Stonework
  • Decorative Woodwork
  • Toy Making
  • Ceramics
  • Glass Works
  • Metal Work
  • Leather Work
  • Clay / Papier Mache
  • Weaving
  • Silversmith
  • Restoration in Gilding
  • Candle / Wax Crafts
  • Miniature Porcelain
These courses will be spread over 140 hours of training on the production of crafts and another 75hours of training in design, entrepreneurship skills, economics, web design, packaging, window display. Participation in these courses is open to all over 16 years.
