University of Malta Gozo Centre - Courses

Eu projects header

Project part-financed by the European Union
European Social Fund
Cost of Project € 110,357.14

The University of Malta Gozo Centre Courses Project stems directly from the objectives (Regional Distinctiveness-Gozo Special Needs) of the Single Programming Document.

The aim of the project is to offer high quality vocational education in Gozo with a view of improving the employability potential of those participating in the project.

The Project consists of the following two main components:

1. The offering of 8 courses in 4 areas of study namely: Agricultural Studies; E-commerce and Information Technology; Environmental Planning and Management; and Business Studies.

2. The compilation of two studies to assess the demand for courses in Gozo. These studies will help the University Gozo Centre and other providers of vocational education in Gozo in the planning of future courses.

The project is being carried out by the Ministry for Gozo and is expected to be completed by September 2007.
